407- Chuck Vs. the First Fight
Volkoff and Chuck at the Bank
Volkoff, as Gregory Tuttle, takes Chuck to a bank under the guise of getting information about Volkoff. They go to the bank and shortly Sarah and Mary arrive and a hold up and shootout occurs. Meanwhile Chuck is mad at Sarah for kidnapping his mom.
The bank is located at 650 S. Spring St in Downtown LA. It was a Bank of America branch at one time and was closed at the time of filming
The building was built in 1924 as the Hellman Commercial Trust and Savings Bank for four years before becoming the national headquarters of Bank of America.
Now, the upper floors are condos and the bottom floor is an event space know as The Majestic Downtown.
Sarah and Chuck Watch the Bartowski Home Blow Up
After the bank incident, Chuck and Sarah head to Stephan's secret area under the Bartowski home in Encino. Mary arrives and uses a device to remove the Intersect from Chuck. Then Volhoff shows up and sets an explosive charge in the room. Sarah and Chuck escape and watch as the house and underground vault are destroyed. While the house on fire is all CBI, they are located on the Warner Village street
Devon and Ellie Pickup Stephen's Car
Ellie had been communicating with her dad via the personal ads in the newspaper (a thing of the past) until Shaw killed him. One day she discovers an ad about a Mustang. She realizes that her dad had left her the car and her and Devon go to find it and pick it up. They find the car in the Warner Village area of the WB lot.
408 - Chuck Vs. The Fear of Death
Chuck and Rye go off to Switzerland
After Chuck's mom removes the Intersect from Chuck, the CIA tries all kinds of tests to try to bring it back. Finally, the assign Agent Jim Rye to "Scare" the Intersect back to Chuck's conscious mind. So he and Agent Rye go to Gstaad, Switzerland to chase down "The Belgian," Adelbert de Smet. However, the first scene shown is not Switzerland, but the Ötztal valley in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The view specifically showcases the expansive valley floor near the village of Längenfeld.
Chuck and Rye on the Gondola
Chuck and Rye travel to the villa via a gondola. The Gondola appears to be an old gondola car used at the Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah. A company, The Gondola Shop rebuilt an old Snowbird gondola, which look identical to the one used in this episode. The scene is heavily CG'd.

Chuck in The Lab
After "The Belgian," de Smet kidnaps Chuck and Rye falls to his death after being shot, we see Chuck in a lab environment with De Smet and Dr. Mueller. They are trying to remove the repressed Intersect from Chuck.
Much, if not all, of this episode was filmed on the backlot of Warner Brother, in the lagoon area. This particular scene is located in the house nearest the lagoon.
Sarah and Casey go to the Thai Embassy
Morgan discovers that Anand Chanarong, the man who does the Belgian's "dirty work," is at the Thai Embassy in LA. There is no Thai Embassy in LA like that. Instead, This building was built for Ernesto & Edith Fabbri, and is located at 7 East 95th Street in New York City, in the Italian Renaissance revival style. Today, it is the House of the Redeemer and serves as a religious retreat house affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Guards Outside the Lab
We see a view of the laboratory building and there are guards and workers surrounding it. This the external shot of the building where Chuck is being held. Interestingly, the deck is covered and even the railings are concealed. It appears the side facing has been painted green and the windows boarded up.
Building in Thailand
We are to suppose that Sarah arrives at this building in Thailand hoping to locate Chuck. However, this building is the "This is Ta Prohm" Buddhist temple located near the city of Siem Reapin, Cambodia, known for its dramatic tree roots overtaking the ancient structures. Not in Thailand
Sarah goes to the Bar to Find Chuck
Sarah is determined to go to Thailand to find Chuck. She goes to a bar to find someone who knows where The Belgian is. The bar is a structure on the WB lot in the Lagoon area.
The first pictures are the fighting arena outside the cabin. The temple in Cambodia has been CG'd into the scene as well as all the vegetation. The arena has been constructed in the area in front of the cabin and barn.
The bar is set up in the barn. Sarah goes into the bar.
Chuck in The Lab
As Chuck is being worked on by The Belgian and Dr. Mueller, he begins to hallucinate that he is escaping or being with Sarah. He thinks he is escape from the lab out an open window of the Lagoon House, as we are calling it. He sees the guards and tries to hide by falling out the window.

Chuck Escapes to the Woods
Chuck continues to hallucinate that he has escaped from the lab and runs into the woods near the lab. There are a number of clumps of bamboo surrounding the lagoon area of the WB backlot.
Sarah Goes to Rescue Chuck
After defeating the fighter, Sarah sets out to rescue Chuck. With Morgan acting as decoy, Sarah surprises the guards by swimming through the lagoon.
The lagoon is one of the main features of the jungle area of the WB backlot. However, it is only filled with water when it needs to be used. The depth is at most 3 feet in the center. When Sarah comes out of the water, she comes through a small clearing in the brush.
410 - Chuck Vs. The Leftovers
This episode was filmed entirely on the Warner Brothers lot. In fact, there is only one outside episode. At this point, we cannot specifically locate where the episode where Chuck and Sarah are walking and get attacked. Chuck uses his move here learned in the pole dancing class.
411 - Chuck Vs. The Balcony
Opening Scene
The opening scene shows a panoramic shot of a hillside vineyard with the caption Loire Valley, France. The location of this place is unknown, but probably not France. There is a man running through a vineyard being chased by men and dogs. This vineyard is most likely located in the wine country of Southern California. The hillside is mostly likely CG'd.
After the man runs through the vineyard, he falls into a grove of trees. Still being pursued, he comes to a French Villa. He is now in an entirely different place. The French villa where this entire episode is based. The Villa is the Villa del Sol d'Oro, located at 675 W Highland Ave in Sierra Madre , CA. For the record, there are no vineyards on the property or in the vicinity. There will be more pictures of this place coming up.
Wine Cellar
The agent enters the villa and makes his way to the wine cellar. The wine cellar is supposedly located in the basement of the Villa del Sol d’Ora. However no pictures currently exist online. Looks like another trip to visit the place.
Chuck Takes Sarah to Dinner to Propose
Chuck and Sarah are at dinner. Chuck is planning to propose to Sarah. As you look at the window, you can see the teal-colored umbrellas. This area is an employee lunch area. Morgan is standing by with balloons and a horse-drawn carriage. It appears this all takes place on the Warner Brothers lot. When Chuck meets Morgan on the Street you can see the Steven J. Ross Theater down the street.
When Chuck leaves the restaurant to call off Morgan and what he had planned as part of the proposal, you see Chuck exit the restaurant. The fence is visible there.

Chuck and Sarah Arrive at the Villa in France
After the proposal debacle, Chuck and Sarah are sent to France to recover the missing microchip. They are on the patio of the Villa del Sol d’Oro. The other shot shows the patio looking out toward the garden
