Synopsis
Jeff and Lester get busted by Chuck for their inappropriate video work. Devon comes to ask Chuck for permission to propose to Ellie. Chuck sees a bug planted in the Buy More and accuses Casey of bugging the store, but poorly. Morgan wants Chuck to leak the new video game to him but Chuck refuses. Devon leaves the engagement ring with Chuck to keep it from Ellie.
Casey shows the bug to Sarah and Beckman/Graham inform them it was planted by Fulcrum. They have 48 hours to find the agent who planted it, or Chuck will be relocated to a secure site.
Big Mike arrives at the Buy More the next morning and finds it completely empty. Chuck panics when he finds the ring gone from his locker. The police are called for the theft, but Chuck calls Casey and is told to get to the warehouse. When he arrives, he sees all the Buy More merchandise. They cleared it to search for the receiver/transmitter used with the bugs. Sarah tells him about what will happen if they can’t figure out where the receiver is and they discover that Jeff and Lester interrupted the agent trying to recover the receiver in Big Mike’s Marlin.
The Marlin was stolen and hidden by Jeff and Lester at Chuck’s apartment. Beckman changes the order and Chuck is being extracted. Casey and Chuck discover that Morgan left the apartment with the Marlin. The police detective (Conway) interviews the Buy More staff with Big Mike. Casey interrogates Morgan about the Marlin. Morgan thought the ring was for Sarah and stole it from Chuck’s locker, hiding it in the Marlin. Chuck discovers that the Schwarma delivery girl is the Fulcrum agent.
Morgan tells Lester he moved the Marlin to the freezer at the Weinerlicious. The Fulcrum agent over hears and goes to get it. She fights Sarah and locks her in the freezer, stealing the receiver. Chuck finds out from Morgan what he did with the ring and finds Sarah in the freezer but is unable to get her out. Conway arrives and takes Chuck, refusing to help Sarah.
Casey arrives and releases Sarah from the freezer. She tells him Chuck has been taken. Devon is also looking for Chuck so he can propose to Ellie. Chuck overhears Conway refer to himself as Longshore and flashes. He realizes he is being taken by the CIA. Casey and Sarah report to Beckman and Graham about Lizzie, the Schwarma girl. They are told that Chuck has been taken. After signing off, Casey tells Sarah to go rescue Chuck while he catches Lizzie.
When Sarah catches up to Chuck she convinces Longshore to give her more time. Chuck asks Sarah to talk to his friends and family and tell them he loves them. He asks her to come see him at his cell, they hold hands then say goodbye. Sarah is teary-eyed- “Chuck, I’ll save you later.”
Lizzie arrives and shoots Longshore. She knows Chuck is the intersect. She also has the ring. Chuck distracts her and Sarah gets in position to take her down. They fight and this time Sarah wins but she and Chuck have to dig through the trash receptacle to find the ring.
When Big Mike gets to work the next morning the Buy More is back to normal. Chuck and Sarah take the ring to Devon at the apartment, and they watch as Devon proposes and Ellie accepts. Chuck asks Sarah to come in to congratulate them. She says it’s family time, Chuck responds, “I know.”
She says goodnight, then watches through the window. Casey comes up behind her to remind her they can’t protect him forever.
