Synopsis

Palo Alto, CA 2002

Chuck and Jill are on a Ferris wheel, Chuck is nervous. He had the wheel paused at the top but stammers around trying to ask about their relationship. She stops him by kissing him.

Current day, Beckman is on the screen in Castle; Sarah and Casey tell her that Jill is Fulcrum and has Chuck. She tells them to find him. Meanwhile, Jill and Chuck are in bed and kissing. Jill goes to shower and Chuck picks up her phone when it rings. He flashes on the information and realizes she is a spy. He tells her he is going for coffee and runs out only to be intercepted by Casey who pulls him into a massage room. Sarah and Casey tell him they know about Jill and he has to go back and act normal so they can fool her. Chuck takes coffee back to Jill, they go back home and agree to go out that night. In Casey’s apartment, Chuck tells Beckman he will help infiltrate Fulcrum.

In Ellie’s apartment she is preparing for Devon’s parents for Thanksgiving. She is spiraling and Chuck chats with Morgan in his room. He denies having another woman but Morgan is distracted by Ellie practice cooking turkey. She has him taste test it then throws it away. She then disinvites him for Thanksgiving. 

At the Buy More, Big Mike assigns Jeff, Lester and Morgan to guard the store for the holiday. Chuck makes a date with Jill and asks Sarah for help fooling Jill. She leads him through an intimate moment to school him on focusing. They almost kiss in the process. 

Casey informs them Jill has bought tickets for a musical performance. Chuck and Jill leave that night but not for a musical performance. She takes him to a carnival and they ride the ferris wheel, just like at the open. She then pulls a gun on him and tells him she has to turn him over to Leader. He talks her out of it and they make a plan to fool Leader. Casey and Sarah realize they were fooled and head to Chuck. Confronting Leader, Jill helps Chuck flee but he is followed to a Gravitron ride. Chuck turns the ride on when Leader follows him and they fight while both are pinned to the wall. Chuck succeeds in escaping and runs to the fun house where he talks to Jill but can’t find her with all the distorting mirrors. They are followed by Leader and Jill shoots him just as he is about to shoot Chuck. Casey and Sarah find them outside the ride and arrest Jill as Chuck defends her. 

The Buy More is rigged to prevent theft by Jeff, Lester and Morgan after Big Mike locks them in. Morgan plots to escape to retrieve some real turkey for their dinner. They set off the theft alarm and Big Mike never gets to his fishing destination, heading back home. 

When Morgan tries to steal the turkey from the Ellie’s trash he is caught by Ellie and Devon, who just discovered Devon’s parents aren’t coming for dinner. He lets slip to Ellie about Chuck and Jill and asks Ellie to let Lester and Jeff come for dinner.

Back at Castle, Sarah gives Jill a lie detector test, asking questions about Fulcrum to find out if they can get the location of Leader. After Casey and Sarah leave to get Leader, Chuck uses the lie detector to ask Jill if her feelings for him are real. He doesn’t realize she lied to him about their future as he releases her. While Casey and Sarah capture Leader, Jill fools Chuck and captures him. When Sarah and Casey arrive she and Leader lock them up and threaten them to get Chuck to help them get the Fulcrum information. He uses the computer to get the information and the team is locked into cells in Castle. Casey and Sarah’s cell is rigged with explosives to get Chuck to cooperate. 

Fortunately, Chuck read the manual for Castle and was able to program the computer to release Casey and Sarah after Leader takes him away. He tells them he is taking Jill and Leader to Buy More. Casey fights Leader while Sarah chases Jill. Chuck finds Jill as she is about to shoot Sarah and convinces her to come with him to escape.

Big Mike enters the Buy More and thinks Casey is fighting a thief and takes Leader out. Chuck takes Jill to a CIA enabled Nerd Herder. He locks her in the car. Sarah comes out onto the loading dock in time to hear Chuck tell Jill he was going to let her get away until he saw she was going to kill Sarah.

Chuck talks to Sarah as they walk to Ellie’s apartment for dinner and apologizes. She tells him he is a good person and leave the deception to her. They join hands as they go into the apartment. Morgan, Lester and Jeff are already there and Morgan tells Ellie that Chuck and Sarah will walk through the door and there is no issue will Jill. They come in and Chuck tells Ellie that Jill is in the past. They sit down to dinner together and toast. 

Points of Interest

• During the original broadcast of the episode, Josh Gomez accidentally calls Ellie “Sarah” (her real name) in the scene where she throws rthe turkey out but it was edited out after that first broadcast. 
• Jill’s watch in the ferris wheel scene says 3:30. Another middle of the night filming schedule for the cast.
• Chuck and Sarah return to their normal relationship after the trauma of “Break Up” and Jill distracting Chuck.
• Fulcrum still thinks Bryce is the Intersect.
